Semiconductor Equipment Engineers x 5 - Equipment Service Engineers
+ Manufacturing Equipment Support - Service, repair, upkeep
+ Semiconductor plant equipment - based Northamptom
+ Fantastic company and opportunity
+ Great salary GBP40,000 to GBP47,000 including shift allowance + Overtime

Role would suit Field Service Engineers (though role is in one location)
Job Title: Equipment Engineer
Equipment Engineering technical support on rotating shifts
First line response for all equipment issues and PMs, working to the priorities agreed with the Department Manager to minimise downtime on production equipment
Monitor Cost of Ownership and drive improvements for a reduction in expenditure
Identify and procure critical equipment spares and consumables
Repair down tools and progress key improvement projects
Coordinate and train others to eliminate single route knowledge/expertise
Generate and communicate plans for down tools within their reporting area and provide end of shift handovers
Complete QOS uptime reports including fault pareto and action registers
Able to carry out a wide range of duties according to documented procedures without supervision
Responsible for creating and updating relevant departmental documentation
JOB CHALLENGES:
Ensure Equipment availability and reliability is maximized by application of good maintenance and root cause analysis. Bringing about the quickest possible return to reliable operation and process performance to meet manufacturing operations delivery schedules
Effectively communicate problems and solutions across all levels of the business
Timely response to engineering problems with workable solutions
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
HNC/HND/DEGREE or equivalent in a technical discipline
Skills/Competencies - Desirable:
Experienced in the maintenance and repair of Semiconductor manufacting equipment from the following vendors: ASML, Trikon/SPTS, OiPT, Palomar, Temescal, Leybold, Leica, Semitool
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Flexible approach to working hours and the needs of the business, able to work overtime as required
Self-motivated
Excellent communication skills
Excellent standard of written and spoken English is essential
Maintaining and upkeep of large capital equipment
Must be prepapred to wear protective suits and breathing apparatus
Role requires individuals to be physically fit
