HartleyCo has partnered with a world leader in Print Management to secure a Software Solutions Architect / Presales Pre-sales Pre Sales Consultant. The role will be attached to their Glasgow office although most of your time will be spent working from home.

The purpose of the role is to provide pre-sales technical assistance to the field sales team when selling a range of electronic document services and solutions, including:

Electronic document and records management solutions (EDMS/EDRMS/ECM)

Document capture solutions, such as on-site digital mailrooms

Outsourced document services, such as outsourced scanning solution and hybrid mail solutions

This requires you to understand the challenges organisations of all sizes face when creating, processing, storing and retrieving documentation. You should be able to apply this knowledge so that you can match these challenges to the extensive portfolio of digital solutions that the client has to offer.

Whilst the role does not involve direct selling, the focus of your efforts should be such that you can work closely with the experienced sales force to create a compelling reason for potential customers to do business with the client.

Product training will be provided, and it is not expected that candidates will have experience of every type of product within the Digital Services portfolio. However, previous exposure to Electronic Document Management (EDM) and Scanning solutions such as one or more of the following:- DocuShare, Invu, V1, Docuware, SharePoint, Drivve, Kofax, eCopy, NSI Autostore, Readsoft, Abbyy or similar would be a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

* To attend carefully selected appointments with the sales team.

* Participate in and/or lead solution design, provide input on how to provide cost savings/business efficiencies to the client.

* Where appropriate, produce documentation and/or presentations that clearly communicate the findings of your engagements and the potential savings/benefits and efficiencies of the proposed solution.

* Work closely with other members of the Digital Services business to provide demonstrations and/or proof of concept for the proposed solution.

* Provide training and coaching to increase 'solutions' knowledge within the sales team.

* To engage with other departments as and when need for their services are identified as a result of the above activities.

* Handover of projects to production team

* Preparing initial cost estimates and reviewing with appropriate stakeholders

Skills:

Strong IT skills with an excellent understanding of electronic document management and scan related technologies

Good understanding of business processes

Ability to work accurately and methodically

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Proactive sense of urgency to take initiative

Customer service focused

Professional Appearance

Strong interpersonal skills

Ability and willingness be flexible
