Job Role: Technical Design & Structures Engineer
Salary: To be discussed on experience
Location: Chesterfield, Derbyshire
Hours: 08:30 - 17:00 - Monday - Friday
Our client is a leading UK design & manufacturer of Lighting, Traffic, Display & Infrastructure & Signage Support Systems. As a result of recent and planned acquisitions we seek to recruit a qualified and chartered engineer to lead the technical design support function at our clients Chesterfield site, albeit supporting all business locations.
Candidates must have proven experience in lighting and sign columns and posts, passive structures and cantilever supports and be fully conversant with BS EN 40, EN 12899 & BS EN (phone number removed) software packages, ideally within a manufacturing environment. Sound working knowledge of Auto-Cad and Solid Works or similar is required.
* You must be able to demonstrate a full understanding of Auto-Cad Solid Works,
* You must possess a keen eye for detail and be able to communicate well with both internal and external contacts
* You must be able to demonstrate you are capable of working in a methodical and organised fashion
* You must have the capacity to work on several projects at any one time
