Trust Care Management Ltd and Focus Care Supported Living Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced National Training and Infection Control Champion who can promote excellent communication, has a passion for employee development and can turn training into fun and engaging sessions within health and social care.

About us:

Trust Care Management Ltd is an independent healthcare provider established in 2007. The company provides a wide range of care packages nationally and is continuously developing and expanding within the healthcare sector.

Focus Care Supported Living Ltd offers individualised pathways of care and support to people from their initial placements in secure, low and medium secure settings by successfully reintegrating them into residential settings within communities and ultimately through progressive support and care into supported living or Housing with Care (HwC).

The Role:

* Responsible for the design, delivery and reviewing of our Statutory, Mandatory and CPD training

* Clinical auditing with nursing, residential and supported living facilities

* Provide a flexible approach to training so that bespoke sessions can be delivered within the service when required

* Develop a number of manager toolkits which will provide step by step guidance on activities/ team building session they can deliver themselves. The aim is to provide a blended and continuous learning approach to training.

* Act as an assessor for Nursing Students on Placement and lead, organise, induct, and assess nursing associate apprenticeships.

* Ensuring all training delivered is up to date and in line with current legislation; Skills for Care and CQC.

* Develop a development and career pathway for staff working in our services

* Carryout an on-going evaluation of courses to ensure that the organisation learns from feedback

* Manage and book all training for staff and managers using events calendar

* Produce Training reports and analytics.

Skills Required:

Strong communication skills on all levels, through all mediums. Registered General Nurse experience. Good working knowledge of health regulatory framework and LA and CCG commissioning requirements.The ability to persuade. Interpersonal skills. Problem-solving ability. Organisational and planning skills. Good Reporting Skills. Skills in numerical and statistical analysis. Ability to work under pressure. The ability to work as part of a team and independently. An understanding and appreciation of other people's work loads. Experience of delivering or putting together bespoke training such as Epilepsy and Buccal Midazolam, Moving and handling, learning disability and autism awareness, mental Health illnesses, Diabetes, End of Life care, Physical disabilities, Person centred care and positive risk taking, Dementia, Positive behaviour Management, breakaway. (List is not exhaustive)

Person Requirements:

Essential

* RGN qualification; or equivalent with active pin.

* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel

* Driving licence essential as need to travel between services and offices frequently

* Able to stay overnight as required to suit business needs

* Willing to attend training as required

Desirable

* NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care; or equivalent

* Experience working with Adults and Children

* PTTLS L3 or equivalent teaching qualification

* OSCE Train the trainer

We are offering:

* Permanent Contract

* Annual Salary: GBP35,000

* Full Time - 40 hours per week
