Cabinet Maker - Spider is advertising on behalf of market-leading, bespoke furniture manufacturers in their search for Cabinet Maker to be based near Newmarket.
As a Cabinet Maker, your key focus is to produce various furniture products using classical woodworking machines and hand tools. You will adhere to the highest standards in accordance with plan requirements ensuring that the customer is delighted with the quality and beauty of their finished products.
Other key requirements with the role:
Provide support to colleagues and other teams in the organisation where required
Deliver great customer service internally and externally
Effectively and efficiently use traditional woodworking machinery
Work accurately from designs/ drawings
Produce high-quality furniture products in line with exceptional company standards
Comply with all company Health & Safety procedures
Skills and attributes required:
Versatile
Experience within a similar role/industry essential
Full, clean UK driving license
On-site experience
Experience as a quality cabinet or furniture maker
Ability and experience of working to deadlines
Competent when using woodworking machinery and hand tools
Commitment to producing high-quality work
Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and suppliers
This position is offered on a permanent basis with a salary of GBP30,000 depending on experience. The hours of work would be 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays.
