E3 are proudly partnering with a fast-growing sub-contract machine shop based in West Yorkshire.
Supplying in to key industries with small to medium batches of milled and turned parts, the company is going through an exciting period of growth and are currently awaiting delivery of 2 brand new CNC Machines. They are now looking to increase their capabilities and output by adding a number of skilled CNC Millers to their team.
The ideal candidate will come with a recognised apprenticeship or relevant mechanical engineering qualifications and the ability to independently programme from scratch using HAAS controls/G code.
This is a nights based vacancy.
What we're looking for:
Skilled CNC Millers with previous experience managing the whole machining process from drawing to inspection
Proficient users of Fanuc/HAAS controls - capable of writing bespoke programmes from scratch
Previous experience programming offline using CAD/CAM would be advantageous but not essential
Ability to read, interpret and work directly from engineering drawings
Versatile machinists who are comfortable working with a variety of materials (mild steel, stainless, aluminium, brass, tool steel)
Previous experience in low volume, high precision machining
Ability to use a variety of measuring equipment
Positive work attitude with the flexibility of working overtime
What's on offer:
Negotiable starting salary: GBP14.00 to GBP20 per hour depending on experience
Working Hours: night shift 4 11.5 hour shifts Monday to Thursday
Plenty of overtime (paid at 1.5)
Excellent working conditions - low to medium volume manufacturing
Stable employment within a fast-growing organisation
