Skilled warehouse operative

Our prestigious client based on Telford Way Industrial Estate in Kettering is looking for skilled warehouse operatives to join their ever growing team. This is a Monday to Friday position and will be on going with a permanent contract offered after 12 weeks for the right candidate. We are looking for an experienced warehouse worker who has knowledge of picking, packing, despatch, inbound and rework.

Pay rates are very generous for the area and job role and start at GBP9.00 an hour dependant on shift, job type and experience. This can be discussed further upon application and registration. Available shifts are 6am-2.30pm, 2.00pm-10.30pm and night shift. This position could include the following tasks but is not limited to -

- In bound - checking in on a computer and scanning item to desired location

- Despatch - printing labels and preparing for despatch

- Picking items using a hand scanning system and finding the desired location of this item and packing it accordingly

- Rework and put away - ensuring items and products are scanned correctly and put away in the correct location. This could also involve stock checks

For this position you will need to adhere to the following -

- Have very good written and spoken English - this is due to the nature of the job

- Be reliable and trustworthy as the days operation would depend on your attendance

- Have the above stated warehouse experience - this must include hand scanner use and packing

- We willing to commit to overtime if offered

- Be able to make your own way into work and home again
