GBR Recruitment are working in partnership with a well established progressive coated & cured products manufacturing business, recruiting for an experienced Digital Print Operator (Coated & Cured Finished Products) to join the Print Finish / Coating side of the operation.
This is a great opportunity to join an expanding company using state of the art digital printing machinery / techniques, along with the latest roll coating & curing machinery.
Overview of Duties:
* You will be responsible for the daily operation of all equipment in our state-of-the-art manufacturing department including the continuous coating and curing process line and world leading Digital Printer ensuring Product is produced to the highest standard
* Operation of the roll coating and curing machinery and printing
* Operate machine control screens (HMI screens)
* Perform quality checks and record results.
* Colour accuracy of the finished print is a must (eye for detail)
Education/Skills/Experience:
* Print industry experience preferable or similar
* Knowledge of wood machining & wood cutting tools (e.g. sanding machines, drills, etc.)
* Previous experience with curing & coating techniques would be a benefit
* Must be comfortable working with hands and be able to lift 25Kg's
This role is commutable from; Bishop Auckland, Newton Aycliffe, West Auckland, Spennymoor, Sedgefield, Durham, Peterlee, Hartlepool, Sockton on Tees, Thornaby, Darlington, Middlesborough, Sunderland, Crook & areas close to these
