We're looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer to work for our client.
They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of large scale automated materials handling projects.

Please note: In this position you'll be required to work some weekends and occasionally cover on-call in unsociable hours. Full details of how this will work will be revealed at interview.

The Role:
As the Mechanical Engineer you'll report to the Engineering Manager and will be primarily responsible for designing bespoke material handling solutions in partnership with a variety of manufacturing organisations.
You'll also be tasked with the following:
- Liasing with subcontractors on manufacturing issues
- Visiting customer sites to check progress
- Keeping clients and Co Workers informed of progress at every stage

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for the Mechanical Engineer role will have relevant experience of large scale automated materials handling projects.
In addition, it's essential that you possess the following:
- A high level of competence in 2D and 3D design software
- A recognised mechanical engineering qualification
- Excellent Project Management skills
