Childcare Practitioner - Islington, N1 2TX

We are looking for a Permanent Nursery Practitioner to join our clients established pre-school. The ideal candidate will share our clients genuine love of working with young children, have their drive and motivation for excellence and values of providing outstanding care and support for all the children and families they work with.

Our clients have well-established services, are much loved and used by local families. It has received a GOOD Ofsted with outstanding elements at its last inspection and it is striving to become an example of excellence in all areas of early years childhood development.

Our clients Nursery is a charity providing children, youth and community services to local residents and the childcare services are a key part of their growing work. Open from 09:00 to 16:00, 38 weeks per year for children and the holiday childcare service is open 9 weeks of the school holiday catering from 6 - 12-year-old children from 8.00 to 6 pm.

Hours: 37.5 hrs during term time, 40 hrs during school holidays provision (There is a consideration for term time only 37.5hrs)

Requirements:

Education

Early Years Practitioners with an NNEB/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
A-C GCSE grades in English and MathsExperience

3 years of previous experience of working as an Early Years Practitioner in an educational setting
Experience of curriculum planning according to the EYFS framework
Experience in being a key worker for 2 and 3-year-oldsSkills, knowledge & values
