An exciting opportunity has arisen at a local manufacturing company who have experienced unprecedented growth over recent years, with their appealing products selling both in the UK and internationally.
We are seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to run a noon shift, overseeing a team of warehouse operatives and packers.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be working in a clean, modern warehouse environment, leading a team of people, ensuring orders are picked, packed and despatched efficiently and promptly.
Suitable applicants will have proven experience in supervision of staff including motivating teams, dealing with performance issues, staff rotas and return to work interviews.
You will also be responsible for ordering equipment such as PPE and ensuring Health & safety measures are adhered to.
A willingness to be involved in improvement ideas and problem solving issues is also required
Previous experience in a similar role is essential and applications will be considered from applicants who may have deputised as team leader or supervisor and are looking to progress to the next level.
This role will initially be on a temporary basis with a view to becoming permanent after a trial period.
The hours of work are 1.45pm to 10pm Mon-Thu and 12.45 to 8pm Friday.
