Our client based in Aberdeen is currently recruiting for a Database Analyst on a permanent basis.
Education, Qualifications & Experience
* High level Batchelors Degree in a Technical Discipline
Experience in the following:
* Data modelling and schema creation with emphasis on facilitating end user data discovery
* Scalable, performant database design
* Database tuning and monitoring for optimal system performance
* Data integrity and security from ingestion to consumption
* In depth knowledge of MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL
* NoSQL databases
* Provisioning databases across different platforms including public cloud (AWS, GCP or Azure)
* High availability systems
* Replication and disaster recovery processes
* Knowledge of BI and Analytics Software Tools is advantageous
