We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly enthusiastic IT support candidate to join our reputable client on a permanent basis.

This role may suit someone who has just completed their IT studies

Reporting directly to the IT Manager, the successful candidate will be required to support all IT users in a professional and service driven manner.

Daily Responsibilities will include:

* Responsible for providing IT support to all internal users, effectively manage helpdesk tickets, incident management, service request fulfillment and equipment provisions

* Ability to communicate system updates between the company and suppliers

* Manage the office environment and storage areas

* Monitor servers on a daily basis - looking for OS errors, hardware warnings and server capabilities

* Ability to install and configure hardware and software, server back up, PCs and mobile PDAs

* Ability to keep accurate records for reference where needed ie - installation procedures, troubleshooting procedures, log-in credentials

* Provide accurate and relevant information when working with third party suppliers to resolve issues or implement new hardware/software

* Manage day to day interactions with third party suppliers for IT /telephony contracts

Required Skills:

* Understanding of basic hardware / software

* Understanding of basic computer networking

* Understanding of hardware - be able to troubleshoot component failure and swap out replacement parts where needed

* Strong Microsoft skills

* Ideally a working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Android and iOS

* Excellent communication customer service skills across all levels

* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

* Ability to prioritise and manage own workload

* Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels

* Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
