Seven Social Care is looking for several Support Workers to fill an exciting Opportunity in Darlington. These are temporary positions initially for 4 months with a possible extension.
The role:
We are looking for support workers who are enthusiastic and have a positive approach to support individuals 18 years and older to maintain living in their own home and to regain confidence and skills to maximise independence. The role includes support individuals with everyday tasks, following therapy led support plans. Successful candidates will be provided the opportunity to develop or learn new skills during the induction period. Training and uniforms are provided alongside mileage allowance. You will be required to independently travel to service user's homes within the Darlington area. Shift patterns follow a rota and include some weekends, this is inclusive of early shift 07.30- 1.30pm and evening shift 4.00pm - 10.00pm.
Key Responsibilities:
To identify and create personal goals as per individuals Reablement Support plan.
To visit individuals who are experiencing a change in physical ability.
To travel to individuals homes within Darlington and surrounding villages.
Applicant Requirements:
Qualifications: N/A.
Experience: 2+ years working in a similar role.
Compliance: Up to date DBS.
Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
