Bailey Care Services are currently recruiting on behalf of our clients for disability support workers in the Caerleon area. We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals who have experience in healthcare and would like to gain more experience in a variety of settings. We are looking for individuals who are available to work full time or part-time. Please note that regardless of hours, you will still be required to work Monday - Friday, weekends, nights and bank holidays.
Shift rates:
* Monday - Thursday Nights GBP9.40 per hour
* Friday - Sunday Nights GBP10.20 per hour
As a support worker, you will work closely with the disability care managers delivering care to patients including assisting with personal hygiene, toileting needs, feeding and mobility. Previous experience is essential and successful applicants will receive training and induction.
The position of a Support Worker is to ensure that the service user's needs are met and to assist the team in maintaining high standards of care delivery. We are looking for candidates with a desire to provide compassionate support and care, good communication skills, a flexible approach and enthusiasm to work within the team.
What we need from you:
Essential:
* At least 6 months experience of basic personal care.
* Appropriate verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
* Flexible and responsive to the working environment.
* Practical ability, prioritisation and time management.
