Wireless Network Engineer
Swansea
Salary up to GBP40,000 per annum + benefits
The CPS Group have an exciting opportunity for a Wireless Network Engineer to join a growing company based in Swansea. The opportunity will be suited to someone who has experience configuring and deploying networks, as well as good customer facing and strong troubleshooting skills.
You will report directly to the MD and will be tasked with managing networks.
Resposibilities include:
- Being the primary lead engineer for all networking solutions
- Surveying, planning, configuration & deployment of wireless and wired networks
- Producing technical documentation of both internal and external uses
- Broadband line planning, upgrades and implementation
- Being responsible for technical elements of b2b and b2c onboarding, authentication and payment processes
Experience:
- Wireless Access Points: Cambium, Ruckus, Cisco or similar
- Wireless Links: Silku, Cambium, Ligowave IgniteNet or Ubiquity
- Routers: Microtik, Draytek, Cisco
- Switching: Netgear, Cisco, Cambium, Ubiquity managed switches
- Configuring and deploying RG Nets gateways or similar WiFi controllers
- Experience with RADIUS and dynamic VLANs
