We are Hiring! Due to continued growth we are recruiting for Night Hygiene Operatives to join the Hygiene Team based at our Newent Factory in Gloucestershire.
We are a leading supplier of Poultry products into an impressive range of customers in the UK retail and food service sectors. With ambitious plans for the future, there hasn't been a more exciting time to join us.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 1930hrs - 0430hrs
Purpose of the Role
As a Hygiene operative you will play an instrumental part in achieving the required hygiene standards with the Hygiene team for Avara Foods.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Understanding and attainment of both individual and department targets.
Awareness of the usage of material and energy sources.
Co-operate in the continuous improvement of quality, safety and productivity standards.
Manual handling of plant and equipment
Isolation of plant and machinery
To meet housekeeping and hygiene standards individually and as part of a team.
Compliance with food safety and HSE guidelines
To carry out instructions as given to you by your Team Leader/ManagementWhat we are looking for:
Basic effective communication and numeracy skills - essential
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in cleaning and support services - desirable
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate - desirable
Manual Handling training - desirableA little about us:
