Cut and Crease / Die Cut Machine Minder
(Will consider someone looking for a 6 month contract or perm)
Nuneaton
Hourly rate DOE
Double day shift (Monday to Friday - 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)
Overview-
Ensure quality of cut and creased work while staying complainant with standards and operating procedures. Obtain the best production levels at all times this could mean working overtime hours to optimise production. Also, you would need to ensure that the relevant cutting and creasing machine is maintained, kept clean and can efficiently run.

Established in 1999 this Packaging company focuses on the production of Transparent Plastic Packaging to the Food and Toiletries market.
The role-
Liaise regularly with the production manager and planner to ensure most efficient production within the overall production plan.
Ensure that the machine is fully operational at all times.
Be positive and make every effort to restart production when the machine is not operational.
Become experienced on the other cutting and creasing machines to provide adequate cover.
Along with the production manager you would be expected to assist with training other operatives and/or machines assistants.
Achieve agreed targets for waste levels.
Ensure that the production manager, or delegate is kept fully informed at all times.
Requirements-
Ensure minimal numbers of customer complaints and rejections due to wrong or bad cutting and creasing.
Achieve all targets set.
Efficient running of the cutting and creasing machines.
Recent, relevant, and proven machine minder experience specifically in Bobst or Heidelberg die cutting machines
Ability to carry out instructions act on own initiative and adapt quickly to change.
Ability to work under pressure and meet physical demands of the role with frequent lifting of light and moderately heavy items.
Able to work well within a team.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be able to work unsupervised with a flexible approach to working hours.
