A passionate and well qualified English graduate & Teacher is required to teach English in Years 7 to 13 for one academic year covering the maternity leave on a full-time basic.
Both experienced and newly qualified graduates are encouraged to apply for this post. The School has DfE- recognised arrangements in place for the Induction Year and the confirmation of NQT status and has considerable experience of and success in guiding entrants to the profession to qualified status. For all teachers new to the school regardless of experience, there is a strong and supportive framework of induction to the School.

Requirements:
QTS held in the UK and recent relevant experience
Successful recent experience as a Teacher at KS3 and/or KS4 (CV evidenced)
A thorough understanding of assessment principles (interview)
Experience of working constructively to achieve team objectives and deadlines (interview)
Thorough knowledge of current subject specialism
DBS registered to the online update service
