An award-winning creative agency in Edinburgh City Centre are seeking a Senior Front End Web Developer to join the their team. Even throughout COVID-19, the agency has kept busy with new and existing clients and are now looking to add extra Front End skills to the team.
This agency has been around for quite a while now and work on high profile campaigns for some pretty big deal clients across multiple sectors; banking/finance, retail, FMCG, government/public sector. The company have a lot of loyal clients and a couple of exciting projects on the horizon!
What will I be doing?

As mentioned, the company are looking for an experienced Front End Developer to join their experienced development team.
You'll have the opportunity to work with local clients on a variety of exciting projects and will be involved in the full design and development process from idea to delivery. The team are a very tight-knit bunch, so you'll work closely with the Designers and will be encouraged to bring your own ideas to the table.
The company have a vast number of clients so you'll be expected to work on the Front End of various projects at the one time and should enjoy doing so. They've got a couple of exciting projects in the pipeline which you'll get to work on from scratch too!
Who am I?
The company are looking for a Developer that has commercial experience in a Front End role in a fast paced environment. If you've got experience working in an agency then this could be the perfect role for you - not to worry if you haven't, they're keen to see people from all different backgrounds!
Ideally, you should have experience with HTML5, CSS, SASS, JavaScript and jQuery. This role will also have you working with Drupal pretty often, so it'd be good if you've had exposure to Drupal as well! Exposure to WordPress and Magento wouldn't go a miss either. As you'll be working closely with the Designers in the team, a working knowledge of UX/UI principles, and a really good attention to detail will put you in a great position for this role!
In terms of personality, you should be an outgoing individual that excels in positive working environments. The company have a very inclusive and collaborative nature which you'd be expected to get involved in!
Who will I be working with?
As mentioned, you'll work very closely with everyone else in the team and especially, the Designers in the team. Everyone is happy to bounce ideas off each other and really get stuck into each project that they have. There won't be any shying away in this role due to the size of the team so you should be someone that likes to put their ideas and opinions forward!
You'll also have the opportunity to work closely with the company's clients to find out requirements and pain points, so strong Stakeholder Management skills would be beneficial.
What are the benefits and where will I be based?
This is probably worth knowing before applying. The salary range for the role is GBP28,000 - GBP40,000.
The company's offices are located in Edinburgh City Centre so are very easy to get to. The company are working remotely at the moment so for now you'll be based at home, but when everything is back to normal, you'll be based out of their City Centre offices most of the time.
Interviewing and on-boarding will be done remotely for the role too!
