An experienced Operations & Platform Engineer is required to play a key role in a small, multi-disciplined team, in a highly dynamic environment. You will be part of team that is responsible for operations and further development of an IntelliMax Enterprise, an IoT (Internet of Things) platform based on the PTC ThingWorx platform.

The Role:
So, what will you be doing as an Operations & Platform Engineer?
Work with suppliers and product teams to successfully launch new capabilities to the IntelliMax IoT solution
Development of internal and external products (applications/visualizations) utilizing ThingWorx tooling
Maintenance and deployment of integration capabilities, alterations to business logic and new platform features, often working with internal and external resources
Perform root cause analysis investigations, implement & communicate fixes and/or workarounds
Support & Develop processing tools for automated device log parsing for Data Science team analysis
Collate and document user requirements to ensure successful deliveries that meet customer needs
Peer review & verification of new capabilities developed within the team
Produce solution design and implementation proposals
Managing deployment tools for maintaining edge product & device monitoring software
Upgrades system by conferring with vendors and services; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements and new software
Configuration management & audit to ensure all environments are deployed within specification
Acts as an ambassador for IoT & Connected ProductsWhat are we looking for in our next Operations & Platform Engineer?
Degree or professional qualification in STEM discipline
Experience working with development platforms or highly customizable cloud solutions, e.g.: ThingWorx, Azure IoT Hub, (url removed) etc.
Cloud/PaaS solution deployment and operations experience
Integration design, build & deployment.
Scripting (Python, JavaScript, etc.).
Experience in executing or overseeing change or configuration control processes.
Application support in a customer facing role.
