Private Client Tax Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Tax Manager to join our well-established team. Your main responsibility will be to plan, assist, coordinate and deliver tax advisory services to existing and new clients.

The successful candidate will be supporting the Private Client Partner in delivering the highest standard of service and managing our Client's expectations at all times.

Key responsibilities:

* Manage the delivery of both compliance and advisory assignments to your client portfolio

* Assist the Private Client Tax Partner as necessary in the overall management of the Private Client department

* Build and continue to build sound professional relationships with clients

* Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the year

* Respond to client concerns promptly in an effective and professional manner

* Demonstrate a pro-active approach in providing professional services to clients

* Be pro-active in proposing solutions to clients

* Attend client service reviews and works with the team to identify improvements and opportunities

* Contribute to client understanding at meetings, presentations and interviews

* Assist the Partners in preparing the annual budget for the Private Client department and in the monitoring of budgets and WIP on an ongoing basis

* Have an overall responsibility for the management of WIP on your client portfolio

* Be a pro-active member of the division's management group, embracing specific tasks to move the division forward

* Have an active involvement in relevant networking events

* Identify and refer opportunities for other departments

* Identify potential business development opportunities

* Formulate the overall marketing strategy for the department

Technical Skills / Knowledge:

* Ideally CTA qualified

* To have a good understanding of relevant Microsoft Office software, eg Outlook, Word, Excel and any other packages relevant to the role

* STEP would be preferred but isn't essential
