HGV Breakdown Technician
Location: Northamptonshire
Salary: GBP35,000 + Van + Call out/Stand by fee + more
Our client is a specialist, reliable and reputable Commercial Vehicle Company based around Northamptonshire. They are seeking a passionate and dedicated HGV Breakdown Technician ideally from an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter background as they look to expand their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for and be part of a leading company that looks after and values their employees.
As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter you will be required to undertake the following duties.
* Vehicle maintenance
* Vehicle Inspections & Servicing
* Maintain and repair of vehicle defects or faults
* Vehicle Diagnostic
* Engine / Gearbox repairs & replacement
* Completion of all service sheets and required paperwork
* MOT Preparation
* Health and Safety requirements
As a HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter you must hold the following:
* NVQ / City and Guilds - Level 3
* Minimum of 5 years working on commercial vehicles
* Experience of working in a fast-paced and demanding customer environment
* The ability to organise work on own initiative and work under pressure
* Class 1 licence - Desirable
