Job Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen to join one of our prestigious clients who are one of the largest privately owned transport and logistics companies rapidly expanding in the United Kingdom.
Our client is based in Lodge farm industrial estate in Northampton. As a Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of exceptional service for our customer.
Hours of work and pay:
Shifts- 17:00-02:00 or 20:00-05:00, or 22:00-07:00 Monday to Friday
Overtime -Additional hours will be offered on busy days
Shift length - Nine-hour shifts with one-hour unpaid break
Pay- GBP8.75 per hour with an uplift after 12 weeks of service to GBP9.16 on day shifts and GBP9.78 on night shifts
Duties:
Offloading trailers
Sorting parcels from conveyor belts and loading onto trailers
Candidate requirements:
This role involves manual handling and frequent lifting and can be physically demanding
Previous employment within the warehousing industry is preferred but not essential
Display positive personal attributes by being able to work off own initiative and as part of a team
Attention to detail and accuracy are key to the smooth running of the entire operation and so you must have the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
A positive working attitude and the capability to take instruction well from team leaders and management
