Community Alarm Responders - Stirling

Temporary (3 months plus) full-time

Salary: GBP11.40 - GBP13.40 an hour

The Social Care Community Partnership are currently recruiting Community Alarm Responders in the Stirling area.

The day shifts are from 07:30 - 20:00 (GBP11.40 an hr) and the night shifts are from 19:45 - 07:45 (GBP13.40 an hr).

Key responsibilities

Assess service user needs by alarm and telephone call and direct the appropriate response.
Knowledge and understanding of assistive technology including assembly, installation and ability to explain and demonstrate assistive technology use to service users.
Ability to undertake risk assessments to identify how service users who require assistance in a falls or mobility incident, should be supported.
Proven ability to be able to carry out personal care, medication administration and meal preparation.
To liaise with Emergency services, Council, NHS and third sector contacts to relay service user sensitive, and at times, life critical information to progress a safe and appropriate response for a service user.

Requirements for this role

Full driving licence is essential with pool cars available for all business mileage.
Ideally we are looking to hear from candidates who possess professional qualifications such as an SVQ2/3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent although this is not essential.
Current registration with the Scottish Social Services Council is also highly desirable although this can be done when on boarding with our company for employment.
