JOB DESCRIPTION FOR: Coded Welder
LOCATION: Dudley
JOB TITLE: Coded Welder
SALARY: Depending on experience
HOURS: 39 hours. Monday to Thursday, 8am - 4:30pm. Friday 8am - 3:30pm
THE COMPANY: Our client provides competitive, high quality solutions to specific requirements whether they be tubular piles, fabricated pipework, civil and environmental pipework or any other requirements, all supported by excellent service and reliability.
Their engineering capabilities range from precision rolled and welded tube and pipework fittings, to tubular piles, fabricated pipework, civil and environmental pipework and heavy and complicated fabrications that comply with all the major British and International codes. Their long serving skilled workforce are experienced in achieving the highest engineering solutions in a range of materials from mild steel to exotic metals.
THE ROLE: Our client is looking for a qualified welder, experience in a variety of welding techniques is essential.
Processes utilised are: Submerged Arc, MIG / TIG and FCAW. The role will be to produce large rolled and welded tubulars and specialist fabrications up to 26 metres in length. 3.5 / 4.0 metres diameter from 5mm to 100mm thick.
Proof of previous approvals & references will be required. Candidates will need to be aware of health and safety within the work place.
