A business based South of Cambridge currently seek a temporary Management Accountant. This position will initially be on going (minimum of around 3 months) and could become a permanent opportunity. The company are looking for someone who has previous experience of working in a management accounts role in a busy finance department.
The main duties of the role are as follows:
Producing the monthly management accounts pack
Processing of accruals and prepayments
Reconciling the balance sheet
P&L review
Assisting with the VAT return
Assisting with the upkeep of the company car scheme
Bank reconciliations
Overseeing/authorising the payment run
Candidates will ideally be studying towards their ACCA or CIMA or be qualified by experience. The company use SAP so experience of this would be desirable but isn't essential. Strong Excel skills are a must.
