Reporting into the Shift Manager, this role would suit a Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Team Leader, Warehouse Team Manager or Warehouse First Line Manager with experience of managing fast-paced and dynamic operations.
SHIFT PATTERNS AVAILABLE:
7am-7pm Continental Shift (4 Days On, 4 Days Off)
Tuesday - Saturday Rotating Shifts (6am - 3pm and 2pm - 11pm)
Sunday - Thursday Rotating Shifts (6am - 3pm and 2pm - 11pm)IF YOU CANNOT DO THESE SHIFTS, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY
THE ROLE:
Management of various warehouse functions - including Pick/Pack, Despatch, Quality Control, Inventory and Health & Safety.
Direct Management responsibility of a team of up to 15 (FTE's & Agency).
Hands-on & front foot leadership will be required as this is an extremely fast-paced and demanding 24/7 Logistics operation.
Engagement, Coaching and Mentoring of your team.
Peak Planning & Execution.
Standing in for the Shift Manager when they are out of the business or away from the site.
This business have huge growth plans so they are seeking someone with the ability/desire to grow your career with them.
THE PERSON:
Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Team Leader, Warehouse Team Manager or Warehouse First Line Manager with 3PL/FMCG experience - ESSENTIAL
Temperature Controlled Logistics experience - DESIRABLE
Overall management responsibility for at least 10 heads or more.
Able to liaise with and work alongside demanding clients within a demanding sector.
Front-foot & hands-on leadership style.
Keen to leave a lasting impact and legacy on the wider business.
Strives for operational excellence and sets your teams high standards.
Engaging and coaching style.
Wanting to prove themselves within a demanding role and progress their career with a business that look to develop talent.
