Preceptorship RGN nurse - An exciting opportunity has arisen for a preceptorship nurse - registered adult nurse ( RGN ), registered mental health nurse (RMN) or registered learning disability nurse (RNLD) - to work within a very positive, friendly and supportive Neurological Complex Care Centre situated in Hereford, Herefordshire. The service has a very positive and supportive work environment with a brilliant long-standing team. Location: Hereford, Herefordshire
Salary: GBP18.18 per hour (day shifts) GBP22.72 per hour (night shifts) - (GBP35,451 - GBP44,304 per annum)
Hours: Full Time and Part Time hours are available - you can choose depending on your preference (options of: 11.5 hours, 23 hours, 34.5 hours or 37.5 hours)
Shifts: Options of Days only (7.45am - 8pm) or Nights only (7.45pm - 8am) or Mixed shifts on a rotational basis - you can choose depending on your preference
Service Details: This Hospital caters for the specific needs for males and females aged over 16 years who have complex neurological care requirements. The service is split across two 20-bed units. Most of their patients are in their mid 40's. They offer therapies and activities which include Physiotherapy and Art therapy and receives input from a professor in Neuropsychiatry and monthly specialist GP clinics. They have a full multi-disciplinary team to support their patients specific and/or changing needs in a warm and homely environment.

Preceptorship Programme : In the case of newly qualified nurses registered adult nurse ( RGN ), registered mental health nurse (RMN) or registered learning disability nurse (RNLD), the hospital offers a fantastic preceptorship programme. They have a good number of experienced staff to support and mentor newly qualified nurses.

Training / Induction and opportunities for development and progression: The hospital offers a structured and thorough 2-week induction programme, which will include various training courses. You will also have access to clear and structured development programmes where you can see clear pathways to progression within the hospital. Training and development is one of the major ethos' of the hospital. There are no limits to training and development as the hospital will fund any training course you would like to do that is relevant to your job role.
