We are looking for an experienced Registered Home Manager to take 'Good' CQC rated home on a journey to becoming an 'Outstanding' CQC rated home.
The is a 48-bedded home specialising in general & dementia nursing, residential and respite care for the elderly.
As the Home Manager you will ensure our residents receive a high quality of individual service and care that meets our expectations and exceeds those of our external regulators (CQC). You will be closely supported by a Clinical Deputy who will take responsibility for the clinical leadership of the home.
This will be a highly rewarding role, involving close liaison with residents and their families, the wider healthcare and multidisciplinary teams, sales and marketing.
You will represent The home as an effective marketeer to engage with local community and with the support of the marketing and customer service team to steadily increase bed occupancy.
The Home offers a superb induction program and you will receive continuous support from a dedicated Operations Manager, Clinical Director and Service Quality Manager.
After SUCCESSFUL probation a review of pay will take place.
Essential Job Requirements:
?? The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide an excellent service of person centred care,
?? Qualified nurse - RGN/RMN with NMC Pin
?? Previous, relevant experience managing medium to large nursing homes with a proven track record of achievement with the CQC
?? Good working knowledge of CQC standards,
?? Motivate and promote good working ethos within the home.
?? Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home,
?? Confidence to communicate and maintain excellent working relationships with all levels of colleagues, internal as well as external professionals, families and visitors,
?? The ability to maintain a full staffing team,
?? Create strong links with the local community,
?? A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful, good or outstanding rated care home,
