Role: Production Planner
Salary: Up to GBP25,000
Location: Accrington
Tailor Made Sourcing ltd are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of an award-winning packaging Manufacturer and Distributor in Lancashire. They design, print and manufacture packaging for their growing industrial and retail clients.
We are recruiting for an experienced Production Planner who will be responsible for coordinating the production workflow by planning and prioritising operations to ensure maximum performance to meet targets and deadlines.
Roles and responsibilities:
* Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products
* Plan and prioritise operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
* Assign workers and other staff to production operations
* Schedule shift according to production needs
* Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
* Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
* Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
* Prepare and submit status and performance reports
* Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff
About You:
* Proven experience as production planner within a similar background
* Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
* Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication skills
