Tele-truck Operator/Yard point of contact
Hourly rate: GBP12.00 per hour overtime available at GBP18.00 per hour
Contracted hours: Shifts of 10AM - 8PM with Saturday shifts available
About Us
HT Scaffolding Systems Ltd comprises of a Hoarding and Scaffolding department servicing sites around the UK. The company is privately owned and owner run, we have been in operation for over 20 years. We operate our business in a H&S conscious fashion, with a keen eye on material standards and standards of plant and equipment. Due to continued growth we have recently invested in a Telehandler as part of a change in yard operations and procedures.
Part of the successful candidates remit will be to recruit an FLT Operator to work as part of their team, the shift pattern will be the same with an hourly rate of GBP10 ph.
Key tasks
??Picking and packing equipment - both manually and with FLT
??Loading and unloading of HGVs -manually and with FLT
??Maintenance of materials - painting, cutting, sorting etc.
??General yard activities - sorting, sizing, packing etc.
??Daily checks on plant equipment (FLT/Telehandler)
??Completion of delivery notes, return notes and other paperwork for the smooth running of internal transport
Person Spec
??Minimum of 5 years' experience on FLT/Telehandler including loading of articulated vehicles
??Flexible person with a good understanding of H&S
??Keen attention to detail ensuring the correct load leaves the company each time
??CSCS card preferred
??RTITB FLT qualification preferred although others considered
Plant: 3.5T Telehandler/3.5T Counterbalance FLT
