We are working with a dynamic, innovative and growing scientific company who sell Microbiology & Contamination Control products. They are looking for a Territory Manager to join the business and it is a great opportunity for someone to make a real impact in a small but growing team-focused business with a passion for success!
Degree or equivalent (Microbiology or other science disciplines)
Suitable for a graduate (ideally with a Microbiology/ science background) with experience working to targets in a customer-focused role who is looking to move into a scientific sales position!
PRODUCTS: Industrial product range
CUSTOMERS: Pharmaceutical companies
TERRITORY: UK Wide
This is a field-based role with travel to customer sites around 4 days a week with one day working from home.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Establish and maintain excellent business relationships with customers to ensure that sales are increased within this region.
-Maintain current business whilst growing new business opportunities in the area.
-Identify, contact and visit selected customers to demonstrate products, answer queries and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
-Keep abreast of developments and changes in the market as well as new products that may add to and complement the company's existing portfolio.
-Organise meetings, seminars and exhibitions within the territory when suitable.
-Prepare sales forecasts for the region as well as monthly sales reports to discuss with Line Manager.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Degree or equivalent (Microbiology or other science disciplines)
Experience working in a customer facing or target focused role either during or after university is preferred.
The client will also consider applicants with post-degree laboratory experience looking to move into sales.
The candidate should be self-motivated, energetic and looking to join a young, dynamic company who are in an early growth phase. You should share a passion for success, a commitment to excellence, be creative and determined to achieve your personal and our company expectations
