Net Developer
Resourcing Talent is currently partnered with a software house based in Leeds who are recruiting for 2 .NET Devs to join the team and work on in house projects.
The system is a web-based ASP.NET C# MVC5 web application, backed by MS-SQL, along with a number of supporting services in .NET Core. Essential skills are therefore C# and MVC, with experience of working on public facing websites, along with MS-SQL and strong HTML/CSS skills.
They currently use a mix of Team Foundation Server / Azure Dev-Ops and git for source control, though any source control experience should be transferable.
The primary responsibilities will be:-
Analyse business needs and translate them into IT requirements
Write specifications to company standards
Design and develop deliverables according to specifications
Test software changes, either those implemented themselves or by other members of the department
Support software products, to both internal staff and external users
Follow good development practices and software development life cycle methodologies
Suggest improvements to software products, as well as IT and development processes
Document software changes, and IT and development process
You will ideally have the following skills:-
C#
MVC
Visual Studio
MSSQL
Source control concepts (TFS)
Javascript / JQuery
Internet Information Services (IIS)
Powershell
