Our client is a leading world wide manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products that's quality is recognised as second to none. Due to growth into various export markets they are looking for a Production Team Leader / Supervisor to come on board part of the team.
Role & Responsibilities:
*Work in an environment of continuous improvement and Right First Time
*Be the first line problem solver in terms of Safety, Quality, Production Flow, Tooling, Machine Issues and Quantity
*Help the team perform 5S and TPM to ensure work area is kept clean
*Conduct training session with associates to raise awareness and resolve issues
*Knowledge of inspection methods
*Enforce a continuous improvement & lean culture
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
*Must have working knowledge of engineering & manufacturing industry
*Must be used to working in a high-pressure, results driven environment and willing to get stuck in
*Working to engineering drawings
*Problem solving & CI knowledge
*Able to work to tight deadlines
*Come from a continuous improvement / lean manufacturing environment and culture
Benefits Package:
*Salary:- GBP28,000
*Benefits:- Private Pension, 25 Days Holiday, onsite parking
