Building Maintenance Engineer - GBP35,000 - Based static in SW London

A large facilities service provider is seeking an Electrical or Mechanical biased Engineer to oversee the M&E building maintenance across the site. This role is offering a salary of GBP35,000 per annum, with fantastic opportunities to develop and progress within the industry. This is due to the company being one of the largest in the engineering industry holding a wide range of high profile contracts.

Job Role:
You will be required to work a 40 hour week between Mon - Fri, 8:00am - 5pm with overtime opportunities available.

This leading M&E service provider is looking for a Technician with exceptional Commercial/Industrial experience who can also lead, oversee, and assist with any additional maintenance as a bonus. This is a stable business which is always looking to develop its already broad contract base leading to great career/business opportunities.

Job Role:

??Responsible for the technical performance and maintaining company and industry standards within the contract, providing guidance to others on site and technical expertise in Electrical & Mechanical HVAC systems, to ensure appropriate and compliant solutions and efficient customer service delivery.

??The technician will have advanced technical knowledge in commercial building maintenance of air ventilation & heating equipment, such as;

* Plumbing/Water system servicing

* Heating and ventilation

* 3-phase and single phase

* Emergency lighting & Fire alarm testing

* AC units - AHU/FCU's, filters, fan belts, dampers

* Air Vent systems repairs

* Mechanical maintenance will consist of pipe work & plant fault-finding and repairs

* Generators


??Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures, maintaining up to date knowledge of H & S & environmental regulations.

??Repair systems, plant or equipment to the required standards.

??Install, commission & service of electrical systems.

??Diagnose, fault-find, debug and commission systems, utilising appropriate technical skills and system knowledge.

??Monitor and assess ongoing machine/ facility performance, through PPM programme as appropriate, identifying any additional works required to meet fit for purpose standards.

??Administer and complete relevant paperwork for all assignments and forward to the appointed office for filing.

??Plan, prioritise and resource projects, assessing material requirements in accordance with company procedures.

??Permits to work procedures are followed in liaison with line manager.

??Understand and meet ongoing customer requirements, establishing regular contact with appropriate personnel.

Skills Required:

The successful candidate:

?? C&G Level 2/3 in Mechanical or Electrical

??At least 3 years experience working as a Building Maintenance Engineer
