QA Officer-Genomics
Role:- QA Officer-Genomics
Salary:- Up to GBP28,000
Location:- Ayr, Scotland
Russell-Taylor Group have a fantastic opportunity for an individual who has worked to ISO 17025 or in diagnostics with experience in quality assurance/internal auditing to join a growing life science company based in Scotland.
Responsibilities: -
Responsible for ensuring quality activities meet with organisational requirements for the genomic laboratory
Issue, review and approval of QMS documentation, including specifications, SOPS, validation protocols.
Non-conformance reporting, Investigations, Complaints, and perform Internal audits
Direct the change control process.
Control and maintenance of QPulse quality management system.
Maintain KPIs from the QPulse activities on a regular basis (monthly)
Lead investigations into customer complaints and ensure that these complaints are dealt with in good time
Ensure that you are proactive in monitoring, trending and reporting of corrective actions
Provide training and support on the QPulse
Implement and maintain a Quality Risk Management system
Ensure that the supplier and subcontractor audits are performed and reported in a timely manner
Oversee the preparation and facilitation of client/regulatory audits
Work together with the Laboratory Management to help gain ISO 17025 accreditation
Control the archiving of Quality & Technical records.
The Person: -
Previous QA experience in the industry would be desirable
Internal auditing experience would be desirable.
Knowledge of ISO17025, ISO9001 standard or diagnostic standards
Use of QPulse - Quality Management System or equivalent electronic management system.
Ability to work to deadlines and work numerous tasks at one time.
