Job Title: Service Repair Technician
Location: Nuneaton, Warwickshire
Salary: Negotiable DOE
FIXED TERM CONTRACT - 6 Months
My client is a leading provider of electrical products they install and commission these products throughout the UK in a range of industries including utilities and rail. They have a requirement for 2 x Service Repair Technicians at their site in Nuneaton. Please note this is working on a fixed term contract basis for 6 months however could potentially result in a permanent position.
SALARY IS NEGOTIABLE DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE. FULL PRODUCT TRAINING ON THE RANGE OF COMPANY PRODUCTS WILL BE PROVIDED. 20 DAYS HOLIDAY PLUS BANK HOLIDAYS (PRO-RATA), ON-SITE PARKING.
Service Repair Technician Responsibilities:
- Complete repairs using standardised techniques, tools and practices.
- Ensure accurate completion of repair documentation.
- Adoption of controlled documentation and instrumentation.
- Carry out accurate work assessment completion prior to producing quotes for works.
Service Repair Technician Requirements:
- Must hold a qualification in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with experience or working in a workshop/repair facility.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to interface at all levels
- Team Player with the ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Quality focused.
- IT Literate.
Desirable:
- Experience with Lean/Six Sigma Principals
