Asbestos Contracts Officer required immediately, on an initial 6 month contract, to work for a large Housing Association in south Birmingham.
Reporting to the Safer Homes Team Manager, you will:
• Manage the delivery of the asbestos surveying & analysis and asbestos removal contracts
• Review and update of the Asbestos Management Plan, policies and procedures as and when required
• Responsible for the update and maintenance of the Asbestos register.
• Line management responsibilities for the in-house asbestos team and office staff
• To provide detailed reports as necessary, including reports to board on Asbestos related activities
Essential criteria:
• P405 - Management of Asbestos in Buildings
• Demonstrable experience and competence of managing Asbestos contracts
• Good IT skills
