My client is a Multi-Million-pound world leading innovators in computer graphics, video capture and digital display technology. They are urgently seeking a Windows Software Engineer - DirectX or OpenGL to join there rapidly growing team.
My client has customers in over 100 countries worldwide, in markets such as medical, signage, security and retail.
You will be a key member of the software development team primarily designing and implementing Windows Display Driver solutions to provide the rich feature set expected by their worldwide customer base. The specialist display drivers developed by the company, support video walls up to 200MPixels in size, while displaying hundreds of simultaneous video captures and information feeds.
Required Skills and Experience for the Windows Software Engineer - DirectX or OpenGL role:
-Experience of C/C++ development on Windows.
-Practical experience of Direct3D / DirectX or OpenGL
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Practical knowledge and experience of platform debugging techniques.
Desirable Skills for the Windows Software Engineer - DirectX or OpenGL role:
-Knowledge of Windows kernel and Windows device drivers.
-An interest in hardware development / electronics
-Experience of WDDM
-Practical experience of working in an Agile/Scrum team.
-Practical experience of version control systems such as Git or Microsoft Azure DevOps (TFS).
