Our client, a successful and well-respected financial services organisation, are currently recruiting for a Mortgage Support Representative to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering the organisation's mortgage accounts, whilst providing a high level of customer service.
This is a part time position, working 28 hours a week over four days, with flexibility available on days. Your working week with be split between office and home working.
Main Key Responsibilities will include:
* Providing a quality customer service by telephone, post and email, Process all forms of incoming work, customer instructions incoming and outgoing payments
* To act as a point of contact for customers and colleagues in respect of the company's mortgage products and processes.
* To undertake deeds administration and maintain accurate records/audit trails.
* To administer claims for Mortgage Payment Protection and property insurance policies, and ensure that all claims are processed in an efficient manner.
* To process redemptions, including dealings with Land Registry.
* Appropriately handling and allocating payments held in mortgage suspense account.
* To review all relevant reports and take appropriate action, by contacting customers where necessary, amending/updating systems in a timely manner.
* Administering customer requests for 'Repayment Holidays' and to 'Let' properties and to escalate these if necessary.
* Producing statistical data/management information as required.
* Issuing Customer and Broker surveys.
* Take ownership for your own training and development requirements and proactively drive the process.
* Any other duties as required to meet business needs.
Skills/Experience required:
* Good communication skills are essential
* Experience with use of Microsoft packages.
* Positive attitude.
* Polite and friendly.
* Able to work on own initiative.
* Able to prioritise workload effectively.
* Adaptable and Flexible.
* GCSE English & Mathematics Grade C or above or equivalent.
* Certificate in CeMAP (desirable)
* Previous experience in an office environment (desirable)
