A leading care provider is seeking a Service Leader to manage an independent living service in Falkirk/Alloa, Scotland. The services provide high quality care people with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Brain Injury and Addiction. This is a great opportunity for somebody who wants to progress with a leading provider and enjoys a varied role.

Salary: GBP23,000 (pro rata)

Hours: 500 care hours across 3 services in Falkirk & Alloa.

The company itself provide support to disabled and disadvantaged people throughout much of England & Scotland, delivering personalised care to adults, children and the elderly learning difficulties, physical disabilities, mental health concerns and autistic spectrum disorders.


Reporting to the Regional Manager, the post holder will be responsible for the Operational Performance of all services within their cluster ensuring compliance with all statutory and contractual requirements.

You will have budgetary responsibility to ensure targets set by the Regional Manager are achieved or exceeded including financial and business growth targets.

You will be passionate about supporting adults with a learning disability and enabling them to realise their full potential through a person centred approach.

You will drive performance within the cluster ensuring that optimum resourcing levels are used and staff are clear on the standards that are expected of them.

You will develop and embed a culture of accountability, responsibility and self- development based on the company's values.

A strong background in senior management

Solid knowledge of Learning Disabilities and Mental Health in relation to legislation

You must have a passion for achieving improved lifestyles for a range of disabilities and conditions, ideally with experience in residential settings

Must be business orientated, experience of managing budgets, developing services and ensuring high quality service
