1:1 Teaching Assistant - ASAP Start - Bexley
Prospero Teaching are working with an Ofsted rated 'Good' Primary school in Belvedere, Bexley who are seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their three-form entry school as soon as possible. The position is long term in the first instance, with the potential to become a permanent appointment.
The school are looking for an SEN TA to support a child in Year 4 who has ASD. The school are looking for somebody to support with their learning goals and to ensure he's progressing.
The school environment is vibrant and diverse. Children's work is celebrated through high quality displays and all are encouraged to develop understanding in a range of academic and foundation subjects.
As a new member of support staff, you will be welcomed and given access to a range of CPD opportunities. Your day will involve liaising regularly with the class teacher to ensure effective provision.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
Location: Belvedere, Bexley
Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Contract or position start date: Long-term contract, ASAP
Full time/part time: Full time
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATION
Minimum 1-year experience support children or adults with SEN
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
Recent DBS
Satisfactory references

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
