As part of our service delivery team, you'll be there for our customers whenever they need you. You'll be responsible for the control and maintenance of electrical, mechanical and electric heating systems covering both domestic and commercial installations. You will cover a wide range of jobs and help solve problems, making sure that all our properties and our customers receive the highest levels of service.

You'll ensure that appropriate control and health and safety procedures are adhered to at all time, carrying out all aspects of commercial and domestic electrical maintenance and installation work including electric heating and periodic test and inspection. You'll also look after planned preventative maintenance (PPM), repair and installation of electrical systems such as boiler controls, pumps, communal lighting, hot water systems and general rewires, and be able to undertake specialist commercial and domestic electrical related work without direction or supervision.

To be an electrician with us, you will need:

C&G Electrical Qualifications including or equivalent to Trade qualification e.g. City & Guilds / NVQ 2382, 2360 Pats ABC, 2391 or 2394/5
NVQ 3 Technical certificate in either mechanical or electrical discipline
Domestic and commercial periodic inspection and testing and installation/maintenance work
Installation and maintenance of electrical heating systems with the ability to diagnose and repair faults
Plumbing systems with the ability to amend pipework
Thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant building, housing, customer services, health and safety, regulatory and technical legislation and best practice
Use of IT systems/software e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
A full, clean driving licence.This role is based from our Chipping Sodbury offices (BS37 6JX) and will involve extensive travel to and from the surrounding areas.

Your previous experience may be in roles as a multi-skilled electrician, electrician (new build), electrical engineer, and a maintenance and repairs electrician, amongst others.
