We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Support or Housing worker to develop their knowledge and skills in this interesting and varied sector.
You will carry a caseload of service users who are in temporary accommodation, supporting them with sourcing move-on accommodation, benefits applications, life skills and everyday needs, and sometimes giving further support and sign-posting for additional drug and alcohol misuse or mental health needs.
You will have some relevant experience, ideally from within a Housing related support background. Experience of working with homeless people, or knowledge of mental health needs or drug and alcohol misuse, would be of particular benefit. You will also need to be a driver with your own vehicle. The role would really suit someone who is looking to get a solid grounding across a range of support needs including homelessness, mental health, drug and alcohol misuse and other associated needs.
