Elderly - EMI & EMD unit
Job Setting
My client requires a dedicated Unit Manager to work within a purpose built nursing home in Preston. The unit you will be managing will have 30 residents all requiring EMI and EMD care, and you will be managing up to 15 care staff. You will have excellent clinical skills and a naturally caring approach.
Situated in Preston, the home offers a modern and supportive environment with en-suite bedrooms, relaxing lounge areas and its own immaculate gardens which provide residents with a lovely space to enjoy. Each bedroom and lounge is designed to ensure comfort and safety. The friendly and welcoming d??cor helps residents to feel at home. There is an open visiting policy and families and friends are always welcome.
Skills and responsibilities
Monitoring blood sugar levels and IV
Wound management
Administering oxygen
Putting together treatment plans
Overseeing a team of care assistants
Liaising with GP and multi-disciplinary team
