The person will be responsible for quality and accuracy of goods received in accordance with procedures with the company's ISO9001 certification. Ensuring repeated quality and accuracy throughout. They will also be required to take on other responsibilities within reason outside of their immediate remit.

Responsibilities and Duties

The operator will be responsible for the accuracy, quality & quantities and products booked in against purchase orders received by vendors.
The operator is responsible for the accuracy of the labelling, ensuring that products are labelled and processed correctly, and that they are kept together and organized on the stock shelving.
The operator is responsible for sensibly packing and transporting goods received onto the warehouse stock shelves, ready for picking.
The operator is responsible the standard of their own work, and any changes deviating from procedure must be authorized through your Manager.
The operator will be responsible for reporting breakages or substandard products or materials to their manager and the purchasing manager.
The operator must be mindful of their own Health & Safety at all times, and mindful of those around them in accordance with the Health & Safety Policy.
The operator is responsible for keeping a clean and tidy environment, stock, components and tools. Putting things back as found being mindful for the next person that uses it.
The operator must be thoughtful of the environment, recycling where possible in accordance to the company's ISO14001 certification & "Know your Aspects" handbook.
The Operator may be asked to perform duties not immediately within their remit, and within reason. We expect all employees to perform these tasks, with the due care and diligence they would their own job.
The person must be punctual and if for some reason cannot be, must report this to their Manager at the earliest possible time.

Attributes & Qualifications

Must uphold the qualities and values expected as stated in the company Handbook.
The person taking on this role must be a confident, self-motivated. Hardworking & organized person, comfortable working alone and as a team taking on tasks and their own initiative where necessary. They must be comfortable working towards set goals and timing standards (KPIs) to ensure that orders are shipped on time.
The operative must have a good attention to detail, being able to spot deficiencies in products & packing products safely.
Must be respectful and courteous to fellow workers, bringing to attention any unacceptable and inappropriate behavior to your manager.
The operator must have previous experience working in a warehousing environment.
Must be able to listen, to follow instructions given by colleagues and managers.
