What's it like to work for our agency?

#Monday 8-2 at a beautiful historic nursing home in the countryside. Helped the residents with getting up and getting ready for the day. Had breakfast, walked around the massive gardens and enjoyed a cup of tea. Assisted with a mid-morning physio appointment. We then joined the rest of the team and residents for a gorgeous dinner, by half past one it was time for some paperwork and checks before finishing.

#Tuesday 2-10pm at a supported living home for young people. Cracking day today, got to pick the 2 service users up from college, take them to town for a spot of shopping and then back to make some dinner. Both showed me how they like their food, and we enjoyed some music and dancing in the kitchen! After dinner, we went out for some time in the garden. Eventually it was time for TV and showers, ready for bed. Wrote up notes and got tidied up ready for the night team. Felt really rewarded today.

#Wednesday Day off today with the kids.

#Thursday 8-8 Long day today, been on my feet for most of it, and it has flown by! I have been assisting the nurse closely today at a fab intermediate care facility, feel like I've learned a lot and made a big difference to a lot of people.

#Friday 7-3 Worked a morning with the young people again today. The morning was busy and we were nearly late to college because of the traffic! Loved the waffle breakfast we made and it was really nice to see what the 2 SU's get up to in college. Fantastic English lesson- managed to learn something too!
