St Gregory’s is a mixed secondary school, ages 11-18, with 1200 students (225 in Sixth Form) on roll.  The school is on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells and within easy distance of a main line station.  London and the south coast are easily accessible.

MATHS MENTOR (part time)

We are seeking to appoint a maths mentor to undertake one-to-one mentoring of Year 11 pupils to help them achieve a grade 5 in their maths GCSE. The job involves working one-to-one with pupils, marking exam papers and recording results on a fortnightly cycle. You will be working as part of a team.

Experience of the new Maths GCSE is beneficial but not necessary as full training will be provided.

The successful candidate will be paid according to the unqualified teacher scale.
