Derby College is looking for a well-motivated Curriculum Support Assistant with a knowledge of the Agricultural world.

Derby College Farm is a very busy, forward thinking centre. The team are ambitious and proud of their achievements and work environment.

We are a small, hands-on and extremely hard-working team, striving for excellence at all times, we adopt a professional and industry correct manner and create an environment where the welfare of the animals is our primary concern. Whilst we have guided working hours these will include early starts and late finishes and will also be required to work at a weekend with Monday being your day off. As in all animal related jobs, the day finishes when all the duties are done, and not when the finishing time comes around, therefore a willingness to work flexibly is required.

The successful candidate will be able to drive and maintain tractors and have experience in fencing (including post, rail & wire) as well as hedge laying or a willingness to learn.

You should be organised and have excellent interpersonal skills together with a commitment to working effectively as part of a team. Your primary focus will be supporting staff and students.
